Lofting Manual
The Mystic Seaport Boatshop Lofting Manual.
By Barry Thomas and Chris Rawlings.
Mystic Seaport Museum under the guidance of John Gardner started a course of small boat building workshops. These became immensely popular and so they produced this excellent guide to lofting a small round-bottomed dinghy which is the sort of starter project most of us aspire to. Seventy pages of instruction and drawings, comb-bound to lie flat on the bench, this is the best introduction to lofting for the beginner.
