The Plywood Twelve and a Half. Phil Bolger's rationalisation of Herreshoff's classic dayboat.
Particulars LOA 16'2" (4.93m), DWL 12'6" (3.81m), Beam 5'8" (1.73m), Draft 2'9" (0.84m), Disp 1,660 lbs (755 kg), of which ballast 750 lbs (341 kg), Sail area 150 sq.ft. (14 sq.m). Construction glued plywood panels over a laminated plywood backbone.
Swift. An outboard skiff with sail auxiliary by Mike O'Brien.
